My son likes it because it is "transparent" (not really, but it is translucent) and has the red straps.I like it because he loves it and thus will wear it all the time.It is good that there are many choices and kids can 'have it their way'.

(More customer reviews)This is a good video with good instructions on how to do lots of tricks.I've watched it a number of times.My only complaint is there is a fair amount of filler and introduction which interferes when you just want to quickly go back to the instructions on a particular trick.

(More customer reviews)This Melissa and Doug name plaque was a great addition to my sons "Boats and Buoys" bedroom motif.I purchased it from Tuesday Morning for only 6.99, so that was a great price.

The stickers are a little daunting to apply, especially if the child has a long name like minds does.

You will first need to draw a line with a pencil and a ruler to get a straight edge to apply the stickers to.Space them out accordingly with your ruler for that boutique look.Then erase the line and hand it up!

My son loves it and it looks cute!It was a good buy for us!

(More customer reviews)Hell on Wheels is a fantastic cycling movie.For those of us in the U.S. who listen to Phil and Paul on OLN and ESPN, its a nice break from the footage and commentary that we get every summer from the Tour de France.Filmed during the 2003 Tour de France, Hell on Wheels goes beyond the daily road racing to show us the behind-the-scenes agonies and amusements of two roomates on the German Telekom team, Eric Zabel and Rolf Aldag.We also get to see the bloody (literally) details of the spectacular wrecks and the muscular pain of riding all-out for three weeks in July.
2003 was an interesting year for Telekom as Jan Ullrich rode with Bianchi and nearly toppled Lance Armstrong who rode to a fifth consecutive victory.Fortunately the film avoids the unending accolades for Armstrong (well-deserved, but its nice to hear about other cyclists for a change...) and instead sticks to the day to day grind that the rest of the riders face.While Zabel was an outstanding sprinter; the film shows him in his career twilight, seemingly unable to come up with that flat stage win that all sprinters covet.Zabel suffers through the incredible mountain stages that are filmed in spectacular color and scale, truly giving the audience an appreciation for the grandeur of the Tour.In one scene the cameraman catches Armstrong, Ullrich, and Mayo racing up a steep pitch at an impossibly fast pace.Throughout the movie the cycling is accompanied by a great sound track that adds to the drama of the race.Non-cyclists may not be as excited by the drama of the race but I guarantee all cyclists will groove on the scene, music, and drama of Hell on Wheels!

(More customer reviews)I didn't buy these from amazon, but I wanted to write a review to level out the terrible one star review the previous person gave these skates. Their great skates if you're just interested in fitness skating. The included bearings are a little weak (SG7's) and I would recommend that you step up toABEC 9's if you want to get any more speed out of them. The wheels are pretty good, 82mm (size) 82A (hardness). For those who don't know, the hardness rating (durometer) tells you how hard the wheels are. Extremely soft wheels, such as 78A's, will be best for riding on rough concrete. The softness will help the skates absorb bumps and make for a more comfortable ride at the cost of speed. Extremely hard wheels, such as 90A's, are better suited to skating indoors. The harder the wheels, the faster (and rougher) the ride. These skated meet in the middle, but may leave much to be desired if you're looking for speed. The TFS fastening system is amazing. One pull on the disk and your skates are perfectly tightened. The mechanism seems very sturdy, I haven't had any problems. The skates also have a ratcheting buckle system. If you've ever had skates that have the buckle strap around the ankle, you know how much of a pain it can be to get it tight. The Crossfire TFS are great skates for intermediate skater; a great stepping stone toward the Radical 90's or other speed skates.

(More customer reviews)These skates didn't quite last two days.I purchased the size 13 skates, because normally I wear a size 14 shoe and when I tried the 13's on (the largest size most inline skate companies seem to produce) they seemed to fit nicely.And the first time I took the skates out for a trial run, they seemed to be great!I was very happy to have found these skates.

Unfortunately, the second time I took them out for a skate on the local bike path (the same route I skated the first day), I noticed that the right skate suddenly felt loose, and that I had no right-ankle support.After stopping and inspecting the skate, I found that the top buckle-in support strap wouldn't stay closed, making that skate much too loose for wear.It's hard to describe here, but the mechanism that's supposed to hold that strap tight rests on an unbelievably tiny hook, fastened in by a correspondingly unbelievably tiny piece of plastic.This mechanism had apparently broken or failed in the course of 48 hours of use.I've since returned the skates, my search for quality inline skates in my size continues, and I strongly recommend against this particular model.
